Tiara Tiny Tots Childcare began in 2021.
We very quickly learned that there was a need in the community beyond the children. Supporting and navigating parents, assisting and connecting with the public school, and broader, more holistic education connections were just a few things identified as we progressed. We were getting more and more feedback that we were serving a bigger mission and were a better fit as a home-based childcare center.
At Tiara Tiny Tots Childcare, our story and our work intertwine in a unique and heartfelt manner. Our foundational elements provide our bedrock to build from as well as the world we want to create for our children. We are an organization that believes in seeing and working toward a bigger picture at a high level. We also believe in being on the ground and in the action of “doing the work” of providing opportunities and showing success. Each person understands the needs, the direction, and the actions to empower every day. We envision a welcoming, inclusive, and strong holistic community in which all children reach their full potential without barriers.
We understand our fit in this community vision. We are creating a model for childhood success that has a ripple effect beyond the child. We also understand that our work has to encompass beyond the child in order for there to be success. Our holistic mission is to provide access to quality affordable childhood education; to support families and community; to strengthen childhood success; to connect and collaborate; and to increase resources which enhance quality of life for all.
We understand the needs of the community as well as the barriers to success that our children and families face. We know our “why” and this drives us each and every day as our work contributes to closing the gaps that are often outside of the child’s control. By doing this, we effect and create strength in our whole community. This is critical in long-term success and the creation of a community that we envision.
